OLA KALA

Flying trapeze, swinging trapeze, trapeze forever… A spectacle of bewitching virtuosity, blending acrobatic and technical feats in an atmosphere of surrealist and poetic elegance, suffused with the exhilaration of vertigo and emotion.

Ola Kala is, once more, an in-depth research about aestheticism, movement in the air, spectacular and inventive, about flying and falling, shared pleasure and desire… The body replaces speech, image follows image on a theatrical structure that allows a new technicality by reinventing the acting space around a crosswise trapeze.

On stage, 12 metres above ground, the 5 musicians play an essential part in the intensity of the spectacle. In perfect harmony with the bodies, the music vibrates, accompanying the aerial ballet. It has been enriched with new instruments and digital devices that add to the acoustic features of the previous show.

Besides this specific work, an important place is given to light, sound and image under a very high white bubble where, for the first time, the intimate circle of the arena allows the audience, lying on deckchairs, to surround the artists.
